Just like people, living trees need time to recover — especially after a busy holiday season. Last year, many of our Christmas trees were rented and spent several weeks inside warm, dry homes before returning outdoors to face the cold Canadian winter. That dramatic shift in temperature and humidity can put real stress on a living tree.
To keep our trees healthy for the long term, we’ve decided to let them rest this season. Giving them a full year to recover allows their root systems to stabilize, their needles to strengthen, and their overall health to rebound so they can continue to grow and thrive for future holidays.
We know this may be disappointing for some of our loyal customers, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Our decision comes from a place of care — caring for the trees, for the environment, and for the quality of the living Christmas experience we want to offer for years to come.
